Tailor-Made

Little Glass Clementine offers a very beautiful service where your very own memoirs and heirlooms can be worked into a bespoke necklace that is made especially for you. So as well as creating a unique necklace you are creating an archive of your own memories.

This is an enchanting journey to go on for a loved one, or a present from a mother to her daughter full of family treasures.

An ideal piece of jewellery for a Bride, in which she can take part in creating a show stopping piece for her most special day. A ring from her mother, her Grandmothers pearl earings, or lace from her christening gown perhaps? All gently and elegantly woven together. She could even combine the traditional Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue!

Clementine works with an array of materials, so the price for a ‘Tailor Made’ necklace is chosen by you, depending on the quality of the materials you wish to include. Whether that be semi-precious gems or diamonds, costume jewellery or ‘turn of the century’ antiques.

Little Glass Clementine pieces do not vary in the quality of their designs or their creation, simply the materials used. So you set the budget you are happy with and Clementine will tailor her sourcing accordingly.

The process is very personal and you are invited to be part of the design process to create this exceptional and rare piece of Jewellery.

1.

Little Glass Clementine invites you to bring your own pieces of treasure from your present and past. It may be a ring from a love affair, a pebble from a beautiful walk on the shore, a button your grandmother’s box, a brooch encrusted in gems, a single earring, jewels given to you by your mother, junk from childhood dreaming, lace from an antique market, or pearls from the sea.
It could be many things, or just one. It will make your tailor made necklace all the more special if your own life’s treasure is laced into the cobweb.

2.

Choose from Little Glass Clementine’s collection of gems, jewellery and antiques. It is also possible if the client wishes to join Clementine on a trip to antique markets and fairs to find specific loved pieces to add.

3.

Together, with Clementine you will work on the composition of the piece so you are part of the design process. Here you will consider the shape and length of the necklace, what themes we wish to use, colours and style. This can be done in person or over the phone or mail.

4.

Clementine can send you photos of during this process and when you are happy she will then create the necklace using her unique technique.

5.

Once made, the necklace will be elegantly gift wrapped and sent to the given address.
